Palmer and Christine are great to work with. Palmer came over and helped diagnostic a problem with our work stove. We were having a down draft that we couldn't over without getting smoke in the house. Palmer recommended a draft collar to solve the problem. After purchasing the device and getting Palmer to cutting our existing stove pipe and installing the collar/pipe correctly our wood stove functions as it should. The draft collar heats the stove pipe sufficiently to overcome the down draft. Thank-you Black Duck Chimney!!

Palmer is the man! He did a full replacement of our wood burning fire place into a brand new Napoleon gas one. He came out a few times and adjusted strategy because we didn’t want to scratch the marble in front of fireplace. Project was completed with any problems!! Highly recommend him for big or small projects!

Great. I have used several different local chimney cleaners and I wasn't happy with their service or price so I thought I would take a chance and try Black Duck. I AM SO HAPPY I DID They were responseive to my inquiry, showed up on time and their service was terrific. They know their business (they cleaned my woodstove and I didn't even expect that, they knew all about it and taught me things to help increase the heat output). The chimney was cleaned quickly and they left no mess. The hearth was cleaner when they left than it was before they came. I am a fan and have already have an appointment for next year.
